Krosfyah is Barbados’ favourite Soca-Band nowadays. From 1995 till now, they brought out one album every year for Crop Over. Trinidads famous Soca Artist KMC is set to release his Album ‘Soul On Fire’ on his new Label Sequence Records in the USA. The album, which is named after the artiste’s popular single Soul On Fire (came out in June at Sequence), will be released on October 4 at the Hyatt Hotel, Miami. After doing eight albums from 1997 (Soca Bashment) till 2005 (Circle Of Love) on his own, this will be the first release from a four-album deal with his new label. The second single, Love, which is a new song from KMC, will be released in Trinidad this week and in New York by the end of November.

This week the new Monstapiece CD will be released called ‘The Next Chapter’. It’s the 7th year that Peter Coppin brings out his famous Compilation. Beside some big Bajan names like Lil Rick & Keann it also features Dawg-E-Slaughter, Bunji Garlin and Vybz Cartel. Last week Krosfyah already brought out their new Album ‘Timeless’ which features 14 Tracks.

The manager of Bajan’s famous Soca label Monstapiece told decooler.com, that the new Monstapiece Album “The Next Chapter” will be released on July 9th together with Lil Rick’s new CD called “Spontaneous”. About the rumours that there’ll be 6 new Riddims by Peter Coppin this year, he said this is not true.

Heeralal Rampartap has won the International Chutney Soca Monarch for a third time. He copped the title after performing his two hit selections Kay-Paharie and Run For Meh Life, before a large and appreciative crowd at Skinner Park, San Fernando.
