Alvin Daniell, producer of MAJOR & minor, who gave us so many nice pan music cds, just released his CD compilation for Panorama 2008, “Pan On Fire”.
Older releases are still available on all major mp3 platforms.
We are heading to the next season of Soca music from Trinidad, as the carnival date is early next year. Many songs are already out and can be found in filesharing networks. I don’t give you any artist or songname as long as the mp3s are not available officially. But artists should make sure, that their music is available early in all (legal) major mp3 plattforms. There are labels and services which are specialized in that - so why not releasing mp3-singles? Better wait till everybody got it already from the filesharing networks?
New costumes for Trinidad Carnival 2008 are already online - here are some of the major bands:
Legacy
Masquerade
Harts
Evolution
Image Nation
Genesis
Trini Revellers
Wee International
Oracle
