Trini artist Iwer George - recently on rotation with songs as ‘Fete After Fete’, ‘It Must Work’ or his 2k6 masterpiece ‘We Reach’ - finally announced his new stage name at the Soca 4 The Summer Show in Mucurapo. At least for the next Carnival season the reigning Soca Monarch will be known as “The Boss”.

Following a stabbing incident on Carnival Tuesday last year, arrest warrants have been prepared for the famous Trinidadian soca singers Machel Montano and Mr. Slaughter. Montano is currently on $50,000 bail after being charged with a series of offences arising out of an April 26 incident at the Zen nightclub in Port of Spain.
