Daddy Friday - photo by St. Thomas Source / One PaperLast tuesday one of the VI’s most important entertainer, Nicholas “Daddy” Friday passed away. He was the bandleader, singer and composer of the Jam Band. His musical career started with the band Eddie and the Movements in the 80s. Jam Band was the most successfull of the Virgin Islands - they won over 16 roadmarches. Our condolences go out to his family and the JamBand members.

    Daddy Friday well be greatly missed by all west indians alike … Antiguan’s will alway’s have a special whine just for him. We will miss him

    Daddy Friday started his musical career singing with
    T & T Brass, then Eddie and the Movements. Movements then changed their name to JAMBAND when Eddie left the band.
