Usually most soca productions are released near a carnival. This year we have to nice riddims which came shortly after this years Trinidad season:
Mystic Riddim is a nice slowtempo soca riddim with steel drums. Best tunes are “Soca” by Mr. Slaughter and Nicky Cordner’s “Only you”.
Remember Elephant Man’s “Bun Badmin”, which was the most played tune of Notting Hill Carnival 2004? This riddim came out on several labels over the years. Now there’s a soca version: Soca Tabernacle. Featured artists are Bunji Garlin (”Wave something”), Wanski, Fayann and more.
